Ebbwater Team

“Each individual on the Ebbwater team brings a unique perspective to the team—but what unites is a desire and a commitment to our mission to make communities more resilient (and a fair bit of nerdiness, too).” ~ Tamsin Lyle

Tamsin Lyle, MEng, MRM, P.Eng,

Principal

Tamsin is an engineer and policy analyst who’s passionate about working in the murky and marvelous space between disciplines. She is equally at home speaking about hydraulic equations as she is speaking to people about the challenges they have faced during disasters. When out of the office she loves nothing more than mucking about on, in, or near water with her two kids.

Silja Hund, MSc, PhD,

Hydrologist and Risk Analyst

Silja is a hydrologist and risk analyst, focusing on hydrological extremes under climate change and their associated risks for communities and natural environments. She likes to dig deep into scientific analysis and research, learning from communities, then sharing key messages. When she isn’t captivated by her latest book, Silja enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family.
